Rakuten’s seasonal “Merry Stacking Season” campaign invites shoppers to stack their savings, leaning into visuals of stacked snow friends, tall gift box trees and teetering skincare products. For this campaign I art directed Rakuten’s Refer-A-Friend program’s seasonal photoshoot and produced all social, email, and site assets. I also produced assets across all growth channels, supporting Rakuten’s acquisition and engagement goals.
Refer-A-Friend
Rakuten’s Refer-A-Friend program features charming snow friends, evoking a sense of warmth and connection while promoting high value bonuses. RAF serves as a brand and growth driver, encouraging organic acquisition through social and word-of-mouth. RAF assets were deployed across digital channels, including app, web, and performance campaigns, to drive referrals, engagement, and measurable user growth.
Social Ads (GDN/PMAX)
We produced assets for Rakuten’s growth campaigns across multiple channels, including the Google Display Network (GDN), Performance Max (PMAX), and Universal App Campaigns (UAC). Each asset was crafted to reflect our holiday campaign, communicating key value propositions and optimizing for clicks, installs, and conversions.
Category ads
Category ads were tailored to feature specific shopping categories to better connect with targeted audiences. These ads deliver relevant messaging, increasing engagement and driving measurable growth. Producing these ads allowed Rakuten to showcase top brands while maintaining a cohesive, festive visual identity across all touch points.
