Big Give Week


Rakuten’s Big Give Week is an annual campaign that celebrates Rakuten members by rewarding them with elevated Cash Back rates of up to 15% across hundreds of participating retailers. Positioned as a moment of gratitude, the promotion highlights Rakuten’s appreciation for its members and driving seasonal engagement. I produced promotional assets across web, email, and mobile app, along with storyboard illustrations developed for the campaign photoshoot.

Rakuten’s promotional Big Give Week assets combined festive, party visuals with clear messaging to drive engagement and conversions. The creative reinforced a “BIG” party theme with “giant” toy dinosaurs, giant disco balls and streamers.

Storyboarding

These detailed storyboard sketches were foundational to the photoshoot, defining composition and style. They streamlined production, and ensured each visual reflected the joyful, celebratory tone of this campaign.
